Born at Waihi Beach and built from the ground up, Closeout is a Kiwi-owned and operated surfwear brand. We’re not here to be the next big label, we’re here to make solid gear that holds its own. 

Closeout kicked off in 2023 as a small design project and turned into something bigger. A platform for fresh ideas, bold thinking, and surfwear that backs the people who live for the ocean, not just pose next to it. 

We keep things lean, local, and intentional. Our gear’s made with better materials because it should be. We back the creatives, the coastlines, and the culture that raised us. No big-budget marketing. No nonsense. Just honest gear for those who get it.
